Brewster Whitecap games . The Skippers will no longer have a food cart near the field .
There is concern that the paved walkway near the edge of the school will have tables for
food . Claire feels that this will be blocking the pathway for fans to get to the bathrooms
inside the school . A meeting to discuss will be scheduled and Judy volunteered to attend
with Claire . Claire will let Judy know the date and time of this upcoming meeting .
Americans with Disability Act Grant ~ Grant money will be awarded to successful
applicants to remove barriers and create and improve accessible features and
programmatic access for persons with disabilities throughout the Commonwealth . Deadline
to apply is June 30 , 2017 and one must attend their grant training in Boston . Claire will
connect with Ellen in the Recreation Department , as accessibility is an issue at our ball
fields .
Foster Square - Denise mentioned that the sidewalks on the right side of the shops at
Foster Square are clearly not accessible . The brick walkway is bumpy , shrubbery is over
grown and not maintained and the tall black lampposts are in the way . One lamppost to the
far end closest to the Brewster Pizza House's entrance is missing and wires are visible .
Our committee intends to write a letter to the owner in the fall to ask if they could
address these issues .

flashing lights at intersections of the rail trail and town roads . Chief Koch has indicated
that people on bikes can use the new sidewalks for safety .

will be addressed for handicapped citizens . Our article is printed on page 39 .
Beach Wheelchair - Chris is still hoping to have a beach wheelchair shed built for Paines
Creek . Denise asked the Chamber if they were willing to loan out 1 beach wheelchairs and
they said yes . The problem is that Tom Thatcher does not have a spot for us to store it at
Town Hall . Therefore , Denise will keep 1 or both wheelchairs in the COA 's basement and
will have Tom , Peter &/ or Rob help with bringing the wheelchair out of the basement when
needed .
ACAC members - Claire mentioned that she would like to petition the Selectmen to
reduce the size of our committee . We need 2 more members . Since we are not going to
