Emergency Rental Assistance
Available in Watertown

EQUAL HOUSING
OPPORTUNITY
In response to the loss of income to Watertown households due to the coronavirus (COVID-19),
the Town of Watertown has created the Emergency Rental Assistance Program utilizing
affordable housing funds.
Applicants are eligible for:
• Up to three months of assistance
• Maximum monthly payment: $750 - 1BR; $950 - 2BR; $1150 - 3BR.
Eligible Households:
• Households must have reduced income due to COVID-19, and
• Total Household income (at the time of application) cannot exceed the following limits:

• Households that currently receive housing assistance (e.g. Public Housing tenants, RAFT,

Application Drive -Up Assistance Night — September 16th from 4:00 — 7:00 pm
Complete an application with staff and volunteers, or drop off your documents!

Applicants have the right to request a reasonable accommodation, which may include a change
to a policy, procedure or practice to afford a person with a disability an equal opportunity to
participate fully in the housing program.
Application Due Date: SEPTEMBER 24, 2020 at 5:00 pm
Applications are due by September 24 2020. A Lottery, if one is needed, will be used to
establish the order in which funds will be awarded. Applications received after the due date will
be added to the bottom of the Lottery List in the order received, until all funds are disbursed. Full
