RIVERSIDE COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CENTER 4080 LEMON STREET, 14TH FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA 92501 1. Call to Order. 2. Public Comments. 3. Consent Calendar. (ACTION) (All matters on the consent calendar will be approved in a single motion unless a Commission member requests a separate action on a specific item.) A. Approval of Minutes. B. Fiscal Audits. Audit reports for the STA, LTF and Commission accounts have been completed. C. Health Benefits Resolution. Approval of Resolution indicating employer's contribution to health insurance premiums is recommended. D. Mid -Year Budget Adjustment. A transfer of $9000 from the contingency reserve account for the Commission's Washington lobbyist is recommended. E, City of Riverside State Transit Assistance Claim. Approval of Riverside's STA claim is recommended. F. SnnLine State Transit Assistance Claim. Approval of SunLine's STA claim is recommended. G. SB 821 Bicycle & Pedestrian Program Amendment. Riverside County has requested the transfer of funds from one approved project to another. 1 H. Approval of Funding for Traffic Signal Project in Indio. The Commission allocated SB 821 funds to Indio for a traffic signal subject to the approval of Caltrans. Caltrans has approved the project. (Info Only.) I. SCAG's Regional High Flow Arterial Study. The SCAG study indicates that at the present time, further consideration of Magnolia Avenue as an alternate to Route 91 is not warranted. (Info Only.) J. Caltrans Highway System Plan. An update of the System Plan for Riverside County is presented. (Info Only.) K. Status of Coachella Valley Transportation Study. A status report is presented. (Info Only.) L. Lake Elsinore Transit Agency Grant Application for Buses and Shelters. Approval of LETS application for federal funds to purchase 2 new buses is recommended. M. SunLine Tel -A -Ride Services. SunLine is requesting bids from private contractors to operate tel-a-ride services. (Info Only.) N. Quarterly Transit Operations Report. A report on the costs and ridership for transit operators is presented. (Info Only.) 4. Fund Estimate for 1985 STIP. A report ispresented on what funding is expected to be available for new highway projects. (Info Only.) 5. Status of Gas. Tax Increase Efforts. A report on local and statewide efforts to increase revenues for transportation will be presented. (Info Only.) 6. SCAG Study on Alternative Fuels. SCAG will make a presentation on their plans to study alternative fuels as a means to reduce vehicular emissions. (Info Only.) 2 7. Evaluation of Commuter Computer. A report will be presented regarding criteria to evaluate the performance of Commuter Computer. (Info Only.) 8. SunLine Transit Agency Service Changes. Approval of service changes in the La Quinta and Sky Valley areas is recommended. 9. Request for Overall Work Program Funds from SCAG. Approval of request to SCAG for funds for various planning projects is recommended. 10. Executive Director's Report. A. Proposed requirement to replace all pre-1976 transit buses. B. Status of I-215 improvements. C. Caltrans studies of farebox return ratios and changes to the Transportation Development Act. D. SCAG/UCLA Rideshare Workshop. E.
