WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City
Council of the City of Moab, that it is in the best interest
of the City and to its mutual advantage to enter into an
Agreement pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act and
Title 17, Chapter 6, Section 22, of the Utah Code Annotated,
1953, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it desirable
to reduce said contract and understanding to writing
pursuant to the terms thereof, and in compliance with
the Interlocal Cooperation Act aforesaid,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
of Moab ratify and approve that certain Agreement between
the City of Moab and the Spanish Valley Water and Sewer
Improvement District dated the 14th day of February
1979, pertaining to the treatment of District sewage by
the City of Moab and the charges therefor, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Recorder
of the City of Moab be authorized to execute said Agreement
on behalf of the City of Moab.
Passed unanimously at a meeting of the Moab
City Council held on the 20th day of February , 1979.
