1. Call to Order.
2. Approval of Minutes.
3. Public Comments.
4. Proposals to Increase Funding for Transportation Purposes.
Staff is recommending support, in concept, for the
transportation legislation proposed by Californians for
Better Transportation and the Regional Transportation
Planning Agency Group.
5. Unmet Transit Needs Process..
Staff proposals are presented for an increased effort to
obtain citizen input regarding unmet transit needs.
6. Proposals to Allow Agencies to Trade Federal Aid Funds.
Approval to allow local agencies to trade Federal Aid funds
under specified guidelines is requested.
7. Local Streets and Highway Maintenance Needs Assessments.
County staff will present a report regarding the shortfall
of funds necessary to properly maintain city and county
streets and roads.
8. Highway Electrification and Automation.
SCAG staff will make a presentation on their study of the
potential benefits of highway electrification and
automation.
9. Adjournment.
The next scheduled RCTC meeting will be on February 21, 1985
at I:30 p.m., Riverside County Administrative Center, 14th
Floor Conference Room, 4080 Lemon Street, Riverside.
