B- 7 7 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO TERRY LINGEN WHEREAS, Terry Lingen (Applicant) has applied for permission to operate a motel and construction business and to construct a 32 x 44 foot garage at 2382 T.H. 55; and WHEREAS, the Medina city code permits use of the property as requested by the Applicant only upon the issuance of a condition- al use permit; and WHEREAS, the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commis- sion on August 12 ;,1986 and the City Council on September 2, 1986 in regard to thi's matter. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that the Applicant's proposed use of the subject property is consistent with the ordinances of the City and will not impede development of adjacent property and that a conditional use permit for the use is hereby granted, subject to the following conditions: 1. The conditional use permit shall apply only to the operation of a 6-unit motel, a construction business and the erection of the proposed 32 x 44 foot garage; 2. The hours of operation shall be 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; 3. There shall be no outside storage of construction materials or equipment on the site; 4. The Applicant shall upgrade the parking area within three years of the issuance of the conditional use permit by either blacktopping or paving the area with concrete; 5. The Applicant shall combine the two outbuildings and move it to the rear of the property; and 6. The Applicant shall install landscaping which is consistent with the City's performance standards. 7. The Applicant shall post a bond in the amount of $ 3,5,00.00 to insure the completion of the parking area. DATED: ATTEST: 46%62{ /O , 1986.
