CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2021-46
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM HAMEL ATHLETIC CLUB
WHEREAS, The Hamel Athletic Club has generously offered to donate a check in the
amount of $66,442.50 (the "Donation") to the city of Medina (the "City"); and
WHEREAS, the Donation will be dedicated to the City's Park Fund to install ball field
lights at the Paul Fortin Memorial Field; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to accept the Donation and express its gratitude to the Hamel
Athletic Club for their generosity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that the City accepts the Donation and thanks the Hamel Athletic Club.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
DesLauriers and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Albers, Cavanaugh, DesLauriers, Martin, Reid
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
