COMMITTEE MEETING — Began at 12:05 p.m.
• CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Committee members Claire Remsberg, Sue Dixon, and Dave Peugh were present.
Also present was Delta James, Economic Development Planner:
• MINUTES APPROVAL [ACTION ITEM]
Sue motioned, Dave seconded, to approve the August 28, 2018 minutes without
revision. All members voted "aye" and the motion passed.
• PUBLIC ART PROJECTS .
• Lardo Bridge: Committee discussed the October Design and Desserts event.
Members generally felt that the event was a success, that the artist
presentation was well done, and that the event might provide a format for a
future fundraising event. Improvements include better lighting at the venue
and that the graphic drawing exercise was unnecessary. Staff reported that
the artist will provide three design ideas in early December for community
review.
• Vinyl in bus stops: Sue agreed to contact Cynthia Dittmer to discuss the
future of the bus stop vinyl murals.
• Downtown: Staff reported that the project artwork committee selected CJ
Rench, Melissa Cole, and Pete Goldlust as the three finalist artists to be
invited to prepare artwork design proposals. Committee members concurred
with the selection committee recommendation. City Council will consider
agreements with the artists on December 13, 2018.
• FUNDING
• Fundraising ideas — Paddle Art Contest — see

No additional information was reported. Claire will investigate the program
further.
• NEXT MEETING
• Early February, 2019 — Staff will send out a poll to determine a meeting date.
The week of December 10 did not work for one committee member.
• ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 1:10 p.m.
