It is undetermined as to what caused the system glitch that caused the DP upgrade not to appear through our configured system as ordered per your acknowledgement. Our IT staff is currently researching the glitch to determine how to prevent the problem for future orders. In order to remedy the situation, the following changes to the windows need to be made. The DP upgrade is a size dependant; therefore different things are done to different sizes of windows to achieve the ratings required. Fortunately for this particular size of units,there are minimal changes required to achieve the upgraded rating. I.) Replace the current snubbers on the sash and frame with DP upgrade snubbers part# 540050 and screws #508152 (Qty2/Snubber) 2.) Add additional snubbers directly across from each locking keeper on the hinge side of the frame and sash. With these changes made. the windows will meet the DP50 rating necessary for the job as specified on the original order. If necessary for service to install the snubbers, please supply an FSQR form to Henrietta Clay as necessary. Sincerely, Eric S.
