HomeMy Public PortalAbout1986-100Member its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 86-100 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID ON THE EXTENSION OF WATER LINE TO QX, INC. WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the extension of a trunk water line to the property owned by QX, Inc., bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the bids listed on Exhibit A attached hereto were received complying with the advertisement; and WHEREAS, it appears that „-'4 o u C c n S t. of F I a.1& / ) �✓ is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The mayor and clerk -treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with 1-4_ 401.4 v o r, 5 Z` . in the name of the City of Medina for the extension of a trunk water line to the property owned by QX, Inc. according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the clerk -treasurer. 2. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
