RESOLUTION NO. Y 7-
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION
OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT AND
CALLING FOR A HEARING ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF
HOLY NAME DRIVE AND MEDINA ROAD
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Holy Name Drive from County Road 24 to
Medina Road and Medina Road from Holy Name Drive to Hunter Drive by construct-
ing permanent streets to a 7 ton capacity and to assess the benefitted proper-
ty for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minn.
Stat., Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota as follows:
1. The proposed improvements shall be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene,
Anderlik and Associates for study and they are instructed to report to
the city council with all convenient speed advising the council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are feasible and
as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvements as
recommended.
2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvements on the 17th
day of February 1987, in the council chambers at city hall at 8:00 p.m.
and the clerk -treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvements as required by law.
