RESOLUTION NO. 6/7 %-
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION
FOR GRANT FUNDING TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY
AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Medina is a sponsoring unit of government for
the project titled "The Conservation Improvement Program"
also known as the Suburban "House Doctor" Program in
accordance with Resolution 87-3 and
WHEREAS, Medina, Maple Grove and Robbinsdale are coordinating their
grant application efforts for funding the House Doctor Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Robbinsdale would serve as the lead unit of government for
this project,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Medina as
follows:
1. The City of Robbinsdale is hereby authorized to apply to the Minnesota
Department of Energy and Economic Development for funding of this project
on behalf of the City of Medina;
2. The City of Robbinsdale is authorized to enter into a grant agreement with
the State of Minnesota for the project named above and thereafter execute
certifications as required and execute such agreements as are necessary
to implement the project.
