"D" STREET, PERRIS, CA 92370 1. Call to Order. 2. Public Comments. 3. Consent Calendar (All matters on the consent calendar will be approved in a single motion unless a Commission member requests a separate action on a specific item.) A. Approval of Minutes. B. FAU System Additions in Indio. C. City of Riverside State Transit Assistance Fund Claim. D. County of Riverside State Transit Assistance Fund Claim. E. Quarterly Report on Transit Operations. 4. Public Hearing on Unmet Transit Needs. A public hearing will be held on unmet transit needs. Action by the Commission will be in April. 5. State Transportation Improvement Program. Staff is recommending that the Commission adopt as the State Highway element of its Transportation Improvement Program the recommendations of Caltrans with some modifications. 6. Proposed Interchanges on I-215, Nuevo Road to Van Buren Boulevard. A staff report is presented relating the actions taken by the County, City of Perris, Caltrans and the FHWA on the location of the proposed interchanges on I-215 between Nuevo Road and Van Buren Boulevard. 7. State Legislation - Transportation Funding. Staff recommends that the Commission support, in concept, SB 140, SB 142 and AB 18, bills that authorize local sales tax increases for transportation and a statewide bond measure for transportation. 8. Local Sales Tax Committee Report. The Local Sales Tax Committee is scheduled to meet on March .11 and will report on the results of that meeting. 9. SCAG's HOV Facilities Plan SCAG staff will brief the Commission on its draft High Occupancy Vehicle Facilities Plan. Staff is recommending that the Commission endorse the plan in concept. 10. Request to Form Cajalco Freeway Committee. The City of Riverside has requested that the Commission form a committee to determine what steps should be taken to begin a study of the proposed Cajalco Freeway alignment as well as land use in the area of the proposed freeway. 11. Executive Director's Report. A. Status of Federal Funding for Route 86. B. Proposed Legislation to Restructure Transportation Responsibilities in Los Angeles County. 12. Adjournment. 2
