HomeMy Public PortalAbout15752 Union Road 100 Block Storm Improvements (10366)ORDINANCE NO. 15752 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($490,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in Union Road 100 Block Storm Improvements (10366) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22021 with Aztec Construction Specialties, LLC for storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Four Hundred Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars ($412,699.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Seven Thousand Three Hundred One Dollars ($77,301.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($490,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in Union Road 100 Block Storm Improvements (10366) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22021 with Aztec Construction Specialties, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Union Road 100 Block Storm Improvements (10366) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 4th day of August, 2021. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 14, 2021.
