AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Reasor Drive Storm Sewer (11273) in
the Cities of Calverton Park and Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 22064 with TaylorMade Construction Co., LLC for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Three Hundred Seventy-
One Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars ($371,555.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Seventy-Eight Thousand Four Hundred
Forty-Five Dollars ($178,445.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek for storm sewer construction in Reasor Drive Storm Sewer (11273) in the Cities
of Calverton Park and Ferguson, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and
conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22064
with TaylorMade Construction Co., LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer
construction in Reasor Drive Storm Sewer (11273) in the Cities of Calverton Park and Ferguson,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 18th day of August, 2021.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on October 14, 2021.
