WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15491 adopted September 10, 2020, authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with John G. Heimos, PC Law Firm,
for collection litigation services on behalf of the District.
WHEREAS, the said contract provided for an initial one-year term with four (4)
additional one-year renewal terms at the option of the District to perform collection litigation
services on behalf of the District; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District desires to exercise its first
(1st) of the four (4) option years to renew said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer, on behalf of the
Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, are hereby authorized to exercise
the District's first (1st) option to renew for an additional one-year term the contract with John G.
Heimos, PC Law Firm for collection litigation services; said contract renewal shall be comprised
of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the
District.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on October 14, 2021.
