TOWN COUNCIL OF IHE TOWN OF TRUCKEE AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER OR TOWN ENGINEER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A COOPERATIVE FUNDING AGREEMENT CALTRANS FOR SIGNALfDRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AT STATE ROUTE 267/PALISADES DRIVE WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee capital improvement program identifies the Palisades Drive/State Route 267 intersection for signalization and drainage improvements during the 1998/99 fiscal year; and WItEREAS, the Town is currently contracting with K.B. Foster Civil Engineers to provide engineering design services for this project; and WHEREAS, in order to fund the project a draft agreement with Caltrans District 3 has been drafted whereby Caltrans will pay 2/3rds of the signal and drainage improvement costs; and WHEREAS, by the signing of the agreement the State would be granting the Town it's authority to order utility relocation at utility expense; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF TI-IE TOWN OF TRUCKEE, as follows: that the Town Council does hereby authorize the Town Manager or Town Engineer to enter into and execute the Cooperative Funding Agreement with Caltrans for the State Route 267/Palisades Drive traffic signalization and drainage improvements. The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Truckee, held on the 15th day of October, 1998, by Councilmember Drake who moved its adoption, which motion being duly seconded by Councilmember McCormack and upon roll call was adopted by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Drake, McCormack, Schneider, Susman & Mayor Florian NOES: None ABSENT: None Ronald Florian, Mayor
