Call to Order. 2. Public Comments. 3. Consent Calendar. (All matters on the consent calendar will be approved in a single motion unless a Commission member requests a separate action on a specific item.) A. Approval of Minutes. B. Citizen Advisory Committee Appointment. Staff is recommending the appointment of Ms. Lori Nickel of Moreno Valley. C. Agreement with CHP for Freeway Call Box System. An agreement for CHP operation of the proposed freeway call box system is recommended for approval. D. Fiscal Year 1987-88 Commission Budget. Staff is recommending the Commission hold a hearing on its FY 87/88 budget at its May meeting. 4. Unmet Transit Needs. A summary of all comments received on unmet transit needs is presented together with recommended findings by the Commission. 5. State Legislation. A status report on SB 140 and SB 142 and recommended positions on 3 additional bills are presented. 6. Proposed Legislation Affecting SCAG/County Commissions' Planning Responsibilities. A general outline defining SCAG and County Transportation Commissions' responsibilities has been developed. Commission endorsement of the outline is recommended. 7. Local Sales Tax for Transportation. Staff will report on the status of discussions on the local sales tax and the status of the San Bernardino County effort. Staff is also recommending that the Commission consider whether to pursue enabling legislation without necessarily committing to putting a measure on the ballot. 8. Federal Aid Urban and Federal Aid Secondary Programs. The FAU and FAS Programs have been updated and are presented for Commission approval. 9. Proposed SB 821 Program Amendment The County has requested that SB 821 funds be reprogrammend to a bikeway project on Magnolia Avenue at the SPRR in Home Gardens. 10. Commission Meeting Schedule. Staff has contacted each Commission member and alternate about the days they are available for Commission meetings. A matrix of the results is presented. 11. Adjournment.
