HomeMy Public PortalAbout2002-02-05-Special Town Election ReportReport of the SPECIAL ELECTION February 5, 2002 In accordance with the Warrant, the inhabitants of Brewster qualified to vote in the Special Town Election met at the Brewster Town Hall, Tuesday, February 5, 2002. The Election workers, duly sworn in were: June Gallant, Warden; Ruth Hanlon, Deputy Warden; Elizabeth Hardy, Dorothy Leone, Marilyn Lahive, Ben Golini, Mary Lindgren, Joan Spilman, Evelyn Williams, Phil Kerrivan, Richard Gerhardt, Sheila Gerhardt, Margaret Sullivan, Nancy White, Germaine Cummins, Ken Berbrick, Nancy Berbrick, Gloria Bowen, Ann Golini, Mary Carey, Jane Nixon, Helen Kelly, Eugene Sedlewicz, Charles Gingold, Jean Gage, Maureen Steinmann, Doris childs, Jackie Dufresne, Dorothy Danner, Nancy Huppi, Patricia Ramsay, Kathleen Ring, Mary Howe, Jane Sigsbee. The Polls were declared open at 7:00 a.m. The Polls were closed at 8:00 p.m. Total number if votes cast in Precinct one 230 Total number of votes in Precinct two 277 Total number of votes in Precinct three 126 Total number of votes 633 Shall the Town of Brewster be allowed to assess an additional $144,000.00 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purpose of creating two new firefighter/paramedic positions with associated benefit expenses for the Fire Department for the fiscal year beginning July first two thousand and two.
