AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for
maintenance yard vehicle storage building in Maintenance Yard Vehicle Storage Building
(Mintert) (10282) in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate
additional funds to Contract No. 22007 with Gershenson Construction Co. for maintenance yard
vehicle storage building.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15637, adopted April 8, 2021, appropriated the initial
funding for and authorized Contract No. 22007; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for maintenance yard vehicle
storage building in Maintenance Yard Vehicle Storage Building (Mintert) (10282) in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
to Contract No. 22007 with Gershenson Construction Co. for maintenance yard vehicle storage
building in Maintenance Yard Vehicle Storage Building (Mintert) (10282) in the City of Ferguson,
Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved
by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2021.
