AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Hundred Seventy-Five
Thousand Dollars ($475,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Trevillian 20 and 50 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (13361) in the Cities of Glendale
and Webster Groves, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22079 with
Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Four Hundred Nineteen
Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($419,435.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Fifty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars
($55,565.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars
($475,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction in Trevillian 20 and 50 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (13361) in the Cities of Glendale
and Webster Groves, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have
been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22079
with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction in Trevillian 20 and 50 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (13361) in the Cities of Glendale
and Webster Groves, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 23rd day of September, 2021.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on November 10, 2021.
