September 19, 197 The State Primary was held on September 19, 1972 in accordance with the Warrant, at the Brewster Town Hall. Polls were open from 10, A.M. and closed at 8 P.M. The return of the Warrant was read by the Town Clerk, Donald P. Consodi.ne. The following election officers were sworn in by the Town Clerk: Paul. C'. Sylver, Warden Fred H. lash, Gladys Curtis, Dorothy Grenier, Doris Powell, Robert Clark, Katherine Meyer, J. Ogden Tyldsley, 7.bxth muddy. The police officer at the ballot boX was Dominic Leonard. There were 217 votes cast, 177 Republican, and 40 'Democrats. The Results were as follows: Republican Democrat Senator in Congress Edward W. Brooke 160 John J.
