HomeMy Public PortalAbout1968-11-18 Special Town Mtg Report REPORT OF SPECIAL IONA KEETiNG November 16, 1968 In accordance with the warrant, the meeting was held in the Erewster Town Hall oa Monday evening, November 18, 1968. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. M. by the Roderator, Grant W. Koch. A quorum was present and there was a moment of silent prayer. The retura of the warrant was read by the Iowa Clerk, Donald P. Consodine, with the exception of the articles, which were read as they were being considered for action. Article 1 , To see if the Town will vote to appro- priate from unappropriated available funds in the Treasury the sum of Six Hundred Dollars, ( 1600.00) to purchase an area of land adjacent to the town landing at hilzer = s Fond, shown on the Assessors maps of the Town of Brewster as Lot 66- Hap 38. VOTED UNANIMOUSLY Article 2. To see if the Town of Brewster will appro- ;riate from unapppro §riated available funds in the Treasury the sum of 4ix Hundred Dollars 0600.00) for appraisal fees involving the location of Old North Road. VOTED UNANIMOUSLY Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from unappropriated funds in the Treasury the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ( 4730.00) for the purpose of making -;wo independent appraisals of salt marshes bordering Cape Lod Bay, now held in private ownership. VOTED UNAr INOUSLY that the Town appropriate .from un- appropriated available funds int the Treasury the sum of :even Hundred Fifty Dollars 0750.00) for the purpose of oaking two independent appraisals of salt marshes bordering . and near Cape Cod Bay, now held in private ownership, said funds to be expended by the Conservation Commission. Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from unappropriated available funds in the Treasury the sum of 44500.00 Forty Five Hundred Dollars for the purpose of naking an engineering survey of the salt marshes bordering and near Cape Cod Flay, now held in private ownership. VOTED UJAilEJUSLY that the Torn appropriate .from un- appropriated available funds in the Treasury the sum of Forty Five Hundred Dollars ( Q4500.00) for the purpose of mak!ng an engineering survey of the salt marshes bordering ..nd near Cape Cod Bay, now held in private ownership, said funds to be expended by the Conservation Commission.
