HomeMy Public PortalAbout15798 Clayton Rd 9925 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (13446)ORDINANCE NO. 15798 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($330,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Clayton Rd 9925 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (13446) in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22092 with Gershenson Construction Co. for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Two Hundred Eighty- Four Thousand Three Hundred Ten Dollars ($284,310.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Dollars ($45,690.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($330,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Clayton Rd 9925 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (13446) in the City of Ladue, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22092 with Gershenson Construction Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Clayton Rd 9925 Sanitary Sewer Replacement (13446) in the City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 12th day of October, 2021. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on December 9, 2021.
