To Roland W. Bassett, Constable of the Town cf Brewster
Greetings:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby
directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Brewster
qualified to vote cin Town affairs to meet at the Brewster Elementary
School Auditorium on Monday evening, January 22, 1973 at 7:3C P. M.,
then and there to act upon the following articles:

ARTICLE 1 . To see if the Town will vote to establish, under the
provisions of General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 8d, en historical comm-
ission of the Town of Brewster for the purposes and with the rights and
duties provided by law, to be composed of five (5) members, appointed
by the Selectmen for terms of three years except that the initial
appointment shall be one (1 ) member for one year, two (2) members for
two years and two (2) members for three years.
ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to amend the zoning by-
law as follows: Section TTr A, Division into Districts and Section V,
Use Regulations, Table 1, add new district to be known as Municipal
Refuse District (Y-RD), the location and boundaries of which are shown
on a map titled "Zoning Map of Brewster, Mass., Metcalf & Eddy, January
1970" and on file with the Town Clerk, said District to be used solely
for a,refuse facility. Also delete the following: Section V, Use
Regulations, Community Facilities, paragraph 12, delete the words
"refuse facility.' and take any action relative thereto.
AR.TICLF 3. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate
Four Hundred Seventy Five Thousand ($475,000.00) Dollars for the purpose
of constructing a Fire and Police Station on land owned by the Town
adjacent to the Town Hail,, and to determine whether any such appropriation
shall be raised by taxation, by transfer from available funds, by borrowing
or otherwise.
ARTICLE 4. To act on any other business that may legally come before
this meeting.

And you are directed to serve this Warrant with your doings thereon
to the Town Clerk at the time and place of said meeting as aforesaid.
Given under our hands and Seal of the Town of Brewster affixed this
10th day of January, 1973.
