BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING
MONDAY JANUARY 9 , 2017 AT 7 : 00PM
TOWN HALL ROOM A
Board members present : Carmen Scherzo, DVM , Chairman ; Mary Chaffee, RN , PhD and James Gallagher
Board members absent: Joe Ford
Others present : Nancy Ellis Ice, MPH, CHO, RS, Health Director, Cynthia Bingham , Selectmen ; Jim Foley, Selectmen ; Peter Norton ,
Selectmen ; David Whitney, Selectmen and John Dickson, Chairman , Board of Selectmen
This was a joint meeting with the Board of Selectmen to appoint a new member of the Board of Health .
Meeting was called to order at 7 : 04PM .
Mrs . Graczewski introduced herself and went over her background .
Dr. Chaffee asked for more information on Mrs . Graczewski' s background . Mrs . Graczewski stated that she has been working as a
Health Agent for the Town of Dennis since 2015 . Prior to this position she worked in the insurance industry, where she worked on
health insurance claims, preparing them for trial . She also holds a degree in medical technology and is a paralegal . She stated that
she has no conflicts with the meeting nights for the Board of Health .
Mr. Gallagher stated that he does work with Mrs . Graczewski at the Town of Dennis and has found her to be very professional .
Motion ; Appoint Annette Graczewski to the Board of Health until the May 2017 election .

Mrs . Graczewski will need to be sworn in before the next Board of Health meeting, which is February 1, 2017 .
