RESOLUTION NO. 09-7 9 6 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO MAKE A DONATION OF TWO
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00) TO THE 2009 SPECIAL
NEEDS TOY RUN SPONSORED BY THE BLACK GLOBAL
BIKERS ASSOCIATION,INC.AND L.B.S.SPECIAL ANGELS
INC.,PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT NO. 19-519493
WHEREAS, the L.B.S. Special Angels charity and the Black Global Bikers Association,
Inc., are sponsoring the annual 2009 Special Needs Toy Run to be held on Sunday, December 13,
2009; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka("City Commission") has
determined that this event is a worthwhile cause; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to partner with the L.B.S. Special Angels
charity and the Black Global Bikers Association in their sponsorship of the 2009 Special Needs
Toy Run.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the City
Manager to make a donation of Two Thousand Dollars($2,000.00)to the 2009 Special Needs Toy
Run sponsored by the Black Global Bikers Association, Inc. and the L.B.S. Special Angels Inc.,
payable from Account No. 19-519493.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
