RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION GRANTING
APPROVAL OF A LOT DIVISION
FOR HARRY AND BERNICE SIPE
WHEREAS, Harry and Bernice Sipe (Applicants) has requested approval of a
plan to divide a parcel of 11.2 acres from their 124 acre farmstead according
to the survey attached hereto as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission and city council have reviewed the lot
division submitted by the Applicants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that approval is granted to the Applicants for their lot division,
subject to the following conditions:
1. The Applicants shall dedicate the right-of-way for Co. Rd. 11
required by city staff;
2. No park dedication fee shall be required;
3. The Applicants shall obtain approval from Hennepin County for the
driveway to Co. Rd. 11 from the proposed new lot; and
4. The Applicants shall pay to the city for administrative expenses the
amount determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to
the city of reviewing the subdivision.

That part of the Northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 118 North,
Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of said Northwest quarter distant
425.00 feet west of the northeast corner of said Northwest quarter;
thence south perpendicular to said north line a distance of 160.00 feet;
thence southwesterly deflecting right 35 degrees a distance of 375.00
feet; thence west deflecting right 55 degrees a distance of 893.00 feet;
thence north deflecting right 90 degrees a distance of 467.18 feet to
said north line; thence east along said north line to the point of be-
ginning.
