HomeMy Public PortalAbout15829 Watkins Creek Pump Station (P-101) Forcemain Replacement (Coal Bank Rd to SpringORDINANCE NO. 15829 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,600,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Watkins Creek Pump Station (P-101) Forcemain Replacement (Coal Bank Rd to Spring Garden Dr) (12922) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 21981 with Kolb Grading Inc. for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15576, adopted January 14, 2021, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21981; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,600,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Watkins Creek Pump Station (P-101) Forcemain Replacement (Coal Bank Rd to Spring Garden Dr) (12922) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 21981 with Kolb Grading Inc. for sanitary sewer construction in Watkins Creek Pump Station (P-101) Forcemain Replacement (Coal Bank Rd to Spring Garden Dr) (12922) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 13, 2022.
