AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the Stormwater Regulatory Fund to be used for small grant
administration agreement in Stormwater Quality Green Infrastructure – Small Grant Rainscaping
Program (13352) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to amend an inter-agency agreement under Contract No. 21867 with Missouri Botanical Gardens
for small grant administration agreement.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15339, adopted January 9, 2020, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract No. 21867; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Stormwater Regulatory Fund to be used for small grant administration
agreement in Stormwater Quality Green Infrastructure – Small Grant Rainscaping Program
(13352) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend an inter-agency
agreement under Contract No. 21867 with Missouri Botanical Gardens for small grant
administration agreement in Stormwater Quality Green Infrastructure – Small Grant Rainscaping
Program (13352) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri; and said contract shall
be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on January 13, 2022.
