CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. O /-o?
RESOLUTION AWARDING
BID FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
HOLY NAME DRIVE AND MEDINA ROAD
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of
Holy Name Drive from County Road 24 to Medina Road and of Medina Road from
Holy Name Drive to Hunter Drive by constructing permanent streets to a 7 ton
capacity and by constructing a recreational trail on the shoulder of the road,
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the bids
summarized on Exhibit A attached hereto were the five low bids of the nine
bids received complying with the advertisement; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Hardrives, Inc. of Maple Grove, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. The mayor and clerk -treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Hardrives, Inc. in the name of the City
of Medina for the improvement described above according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the city council and on file in the
office of the clerk -treasurer.
2. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
