HomeMy Public PortalAbout1987-028Member 56- e r&kr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. g /-oZ p RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO POMMER MANUFACTURING COMPANY WHEREAS, Pommer Manufacturing Company (Applicant) has requested a condi- tional use permit to construct an industrial facility to be located at 825 Tower Drive, which property is legally described in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, construction of the facility requires a conditional use permit under the provisions of the City's zoning ordinance; and WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the planning commission on March 10, 1987, and by the city council on April 7, 1987; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the construction of the proposed facility will not impede the orderly development of adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The Applicant shall obtain the approval of the Elm Creek Watershed District for the project; 2. The project shall be completed to the satisfaction of the city engineer; 3. There shall be no exterior storage on the property; 4. The Applicant shall install exterior lighting which is satisfactory to the zoning administrator; 5. The hours of operation shall be 6 a.m. to midnight, 7 days per week; 6. Any on -site signs shall be in compliance with ordinance requirements and be satisfactory to the zoning administrator; 7. There shall be no exterior trash containers on the property; 8. Rooftop mechanical equipment shall be screened to the satisfaction of the zoning administrator; 9. The Applicant shall be responsible for any sewer availability charge determined to be due by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission; 10. The Applicant shall post a bond or other financial guarantee in the amount required by the zoning administrator and shall execute a development contract satisfactory to the city attorney; and 11. The Applicant shall pay to the city a fee in an amount determined by the staff to represent the actual cost to the city of reviewing this conditional use permit application.
