RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY I~dgPAIRS TO THE
CARTERET PARK SIDEWALK
WHEREAS, in the course of constructing a batting cage in Catxeret Park (the
"Park") a portion of thc sidewalk became damaged; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has inspected the sidewalk in light of the fact
that two (2) children were injured at the site; and
WHEREAS, thc Borough Engineer has determined that an emergent condition
which threatens thc health, safety and welfare of the Borough exists; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has determined that it is necessary to immediately correct
the condition; and
WHEREAS, the Bmou=h s Chief Financial Officer has certified that the necessary
funds exist for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carterct that an emergency contract is hereby awarded to T. Grosso &
Son Contractors, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $ 27,000.00 for the repair of the
Park sidewalk.
BE, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
BE, IT FURTHER RESOEVED that this Resolution shall be advertised as
prescribed bk law.

As per Resolution Number 00-124.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following
AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO THE CARTERET PARK SIDEWALK.
NOT TO EXCEED $27,000.00.
According to the terms set forth in
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set
forth in Resolution.

caused these presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their corporate
seals to be hereto affixed, the day and year written above.
