HomeMy Public PortalAbout1987-041Memb e r its adoption: sc h r) t 1 introduced the following resolution and moved CITY OF MEDINA .y ' RESOLUTION NO. 1/ - '71 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO TEMROC METALS WHEREAS, Temroc Metals (Applicant) has requested a conditional use permit to construct a manufacturing facility at 4375 Willow Drive; and WHEREAS, construction of the building requires a conditional use permit under the provisions of the City's zoning ordinance; and WHEREAS, this matter has been reviewed by the planning commission on April 14, 1987, and by the city council on May 5, 1987; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the construction of the proposed building will not impede the orderly development of adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. There shall be no exterior storage of materials on the site, except for a propane rack, nitrogen tank and a maximum of five semi trailers in active use; 2. The exterior of the building shall be constructed of materials which are consistent with the city's performance standards; 3. Any on -site signs shall be consistent with the city's ordinance and approved by city staff; 4. There shall be no exterior trash container; 5. Rooftop mechanical equipment shall be in compliance with the city's performance standards; 6. Landscaping shall be installed to the satisfaction of the zoning administrator; 7. Portions of the site shall be paved to a 9-ton capacity in accor- dance with city specifications; 8. Exterior lighting shall be installed in accordance with the approved plan; 9. Hours of operation shall be 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; 10. The facility shall be operated in compliance with the noise stan- dards of the Minnesota pollution control agency; 11. The Applicant shall obtain project approval from the Pioneer Creek Watershed District; 12. Access will be provided by means of a driveway easement to Willow Drive; 13. The facility shall be constructed in compliance with applicable building and fire code provisions; 14. The Applicant shall screen the propane tank in accordance with the city`s performance standards and shall negotiate with the city staff regarding screening for the nitrogen tank; 15. The Applicant shall screen the area to be used for storage of the five semi trailers by means of a berm; and 16. The Applicant shall pay to the city a fee in an amount determined by the staff to represent the actual cost to the city of reviewing this conditional use permit application. Dated: / q , 1987.
