Home My Public Portal About10-7994 Flag Poles Sponsored by: City Manager Resolutions No. 10 - 7 9 9 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXPEND FUNDS UP TO SIX THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX DOLLARS ($6,966.00) FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF THREE FLAG POLES PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT NO. 19-519461; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida ("City") desires to install three flag poles at 780 Fisherman Street, Opa-locka Municipal Complex; and WHEREAS, two flags poles will be 25 feet in height and one flag pole will be 30 feet in height and will be installed on the City's easement; and WHEREAS, flag poles installed at the aforementioned location will withstand 250 MPH wind speed and will accommodate the Unites States of America, State of Florida and the City's flags; and WHEREAS, The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka authorizes the City Manager to install three flag poles at 780 Fisherman Street, Opa-locka Municipal Complex in an amount up to Six Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-Six Dollars ($6,966.00). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble hereby incorporated by reference. Resolution No. 10 - 7 9 9 4 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the City Manager to install three flag poles at 780 Fisherman Street, Opa-locka Municipal Complex in an amount up to Six Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-Six Dollars ($6,966.00)payable from account 19-519461.
