HomeMy Public PortalAbout15852 Oakwood Farms Pump Station (P-470) Elimination (12364)ORDINANCE NO. 15852 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($360,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Oakwood Farms Pump Station (P-470) Elimination (12364) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22128 with Gershenson Construction Co. for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Two Hundred Ninety- Three Thousand Dollars ($293,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Sixty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($67,000.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($360,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Oakwood Farms Pump Station (P-470) Elimination (12364) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22128 with Gershenson Construction Co., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Oakwood Farms Pump Station (P-470) Elimination (12364) in the City of Ballwin, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 21st day of December, 2021. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on February 10, 2022.
