A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
TO URBAN INDUSTRIAL
WHEREAS, Alpana Aluminum Products, Inc. (Applicant) has requested
rezoning of a portion of its property located at Co. Rd. 116 and T.H. 55 from
multi -family residential (MR) to urban industrial (UI), which property is
described in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, after notice as required by law, a public hearing was held
before the planning commission on May 12, 1987, at which time all persons
wishing to speak regarding this matter were allowed an opportunity to do so;
and
WHEREAS, the planning commission on May 12, 1987, recommended that the
subject property be rezoned from MR to UI; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on June 2, 1987, reviewed this matter fully,
taking into consideration the City's comprehensive plan, the requirements of
the zoning ordinance and the views and opinions of all relevant parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina
as follows:
1. The attached ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning of
Certain Property from Multi -Family Residential to Urban Industrial" shall
be adopted;
2. The zoning administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause the
designation of the subject property on the official City zoning map to be
changed accordingly; and

3. Staff is authorized and directed to take any and all other actions
consistent with this resolution in order to effectuate the rezoning of
the subject property.
