RESOLUTION NO. e5171--5.1.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION
FOR GRANT FUNDING TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY
AND PUBLIC SERVICE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1987-Cycle III
whereas, the city of /1\iN is a sponsoring unit of
governement for the project title "The Home Energy Check -
Up" Program in accordance with Resolution 8 �, 5J'/ ; and
WHEREAS, Robbinsdale, Maple Grove and Medina are coordinating their
grant application efforts for funding the Home Energy Check -
Up Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Robbinsdale would serve as the lead unit of
government for this project,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
ma, as follows:
1. The City of Robbinsdale is hereby authorized to apply to the
Minnesota Department of Public Service for funding of this
project on behalf of the City of /7) e d i ha.,
2. The City of Robbinsdale is authorized to enter into a grant
agreement with the State of Minnesota for the project named
above and thereafter execute certifications as required and
execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the
project.
