NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council ofthe Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: I. The proposal from CME Associates for professional environmental engineering services for the Carteret DPW Project at a total cost not to exceed $24,400.00 is hereby approved. 2. That this professional services contract is hereby approved contingent upon the Borough's receipt ofthe HDSRF Funds. 3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant to NJ.S.A 40A:1l-5(1)(a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law. 4. Due to escrow funding no longer being available, we have been unable to complete the groundwater monitoring, remedial action report and classification exception proposal for NJDEP submission.'
