A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA,PROVIDING THAT CITY
EMPLOYEES DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN IN AT THE
SECURITY DESK IN THE LOBBY OF TOWN CENTER
WHEN THE EMPLOYEE PRESENTS THEIR CITY
IDENTIFICATION CARD; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,employees who do not have an elevator access card are required to sign-in at
the security desk in the lobby of Town Center when seeking access to city offices; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka ("City Commission") desires
that those employees who have their City identification card present, will not have to sign; and
WHEREAS, as long as the City Employee presents the City identification card, City
Employee will have access to the elevator.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the City
Manager to approve access to the elevator to City Employees who present their City identification
card, with no need to sign-in at the lobby.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
