RESOLUTION NO. 10-8 0 0 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO IMMEDIATELY
SEEK AN IN-HOUSE ATTORNEY; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Joseph S. Geller and the firm of Greenspoon Marder, P.A. are currently
serving as Interim City Attorney; and
WHEREAS,the sponsor believes the City is best served by an in-house attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The Commission will immediately begin the search process for an in-
house city attorney.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2 7 day of JANUARY , 2010.
