AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY WITHIN THE
CITY OF IONA, IDAHO; PARTICULARLY DESCRIBING
THE ALLEY; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
QUITCLAIM DEEDS CONVEYING THE VACATED
ALLEY TO THE OWNERS OF THE ADJACENT LAND;
PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE OF ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IONA, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1. The south 30.03 feet of the alley located in Blocks 14, 15 and 16, Iona
original townsite official plat of the Village of Iona and Denning Addition, lying wholly
within the City of Iona, Bonneville County, Idaho, is not used or needed for public purposes.
The portion of said alley is particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Idaho Code Sections 50-311 and 50-1325,
as amended, such portion of the alley is hereby vacated in favor of the adjacent landowners
named in Section 3 of this Ordinance, in accordance with the parcels described in Section 3
hereof.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and
deliver Quitclaim Deeds conveying portions of said vacated alley to the following persons,
namely:
