RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS FOR CARTERET'S
THIRD OF JULY FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret believe that having a
fireworks display at the Third of July Festival, would be an enjoyable way to .enhance the
event and an appropriate symbo16f com;llunity pride; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a penn~t to display the fireworks it is necessary for the
Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Borough Clerk be and is
he'reby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to obtain any and all
permits to facilitate "Cartere!'s Third of July Festival" fireworks display.
Adopted this 12th day of June, 2008
and certified as a true copy of
the original on June 13 2008.
