Resolution No. 10-8024
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA TO DIRECT AND AUTHORIZE THE
CITY MANAGER TO OBTAIN AN INDEPENDENT OUTSIDE
AUDIT OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT;
PROVIDING FOR RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department is responsible for employees salaries,
benefits and personnel records; and
WHEREAS, it would be advantageous to have an independent review of the status of the
personnel records; and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to obtain an independent outside audit of the Human Resources
Department.
Section 3 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24`h day of February, 2010.
