RESOLUTION NO. 10-8026
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA,
DIRECTING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO CONTRACT WITH ONE OF
THREE (3) VENDORS FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF SHERBONDY PARK AND COMMUNITY
CENTER; PROVIDING FOR RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka, Florida, will be constructing
improvements to Sherbondy Park, and the Community Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has selected three (3) vendors: Grace,
Lemartec and CBHC, to enter their best and final offers for the construction of
Sherbondy Park and the Community Center and to make presentations as to
their qualifications to the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka desires the City Manager to contract
with one of the three vendors for construction of Sherbondy Park and the
Community Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by
reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida,
selects the vendor with the best overall proposal, and directs and authorizes the

City Manager to contract with CBHC, LTC for the construction of
Sherbondy Park and the Community Center.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
