RESOLUTION v "
REALLOCATION OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK'GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS the City of Medina has a need to reallocate Community
Development Block Grant Funds, and
WHEREAS Year XII of the Community Development Program has
$3500 in Project # 22054, Youth Employment, and
WHEREAS there is a need for the funds in Year XII, Independence
Beach Street Improvement Project # 22053, now
BE IT RESOLVED that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday,
September 15, 1987, at 9:00 P.M. to consider the reallocation
of said $3500.

WHEREAS, the City of-71-)rNA , Minnesota and the County of
Hennepin have in effect a Joint Cooperation Agreement, County Contract No.
, for the purposes of qualifying as an Urban County under the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block
Grant program; and
WHEREAS, the City and the County wish to terminate the Agreement and execute a
new Joint Cooperation Agreement, County Contract No. 70480 , to reconsti-
tute the Urban County for purposes of the Community Development Block Grant
program.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the current Joint Cooperation Agreement between the City
and the County, County Contract No. 40439 , be terminated effective Sep-
tember 30, 1987, and a new Joint Cooperation Agreement between the City and
the County, County Contract No. 70480 , be executed effective October 1,
1987, and that the Mayor and the clerk -Treasurer be authorized to sign
the Agreement on behalf of the City.
The question was on the adoption of the resolution, and upon a vote being duly
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
