Resolution No. 10-8029
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO CREATE AN
EMPLOYEE INCENTIVE DISCOUNT PROGRAM;
PROVIDING FOR RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of Opa-locka desires to encourage its employees to
patronize local businesses; and
WHEREAS, a number of local businesses have expressed an interest in offering discounts
to city employees to secure their business; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to see an Employee Incentive Discount Program
organized by the city of Opa-locka.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to move forward with setting up an Employee Incentive Discount
Program.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10TH day of March, 2010.
