HomeMy Public PortalAbout15864 Schuetz Road Sanitary Relief (Forest Brook Ln to Sunny Wood Ct) (10161)ORDINANCE NO. 15864 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Schuetz Road Sanitary Relief (Forest Brook Ln to Sunny Wood Ct) (10161) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22141 with Aztec Construction Specialties LLC for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Five Hundred Fifty- Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-Nine Dollars ($557,969.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Thirty-One Dollars ($192,031.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Schuetz Road Sanitary Relief (Forest Brook Ln to Sunny Wood Ct) (10161) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22141 with Aztec Construction Specialties LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Schuetz Road Sanitary Relief (Forest Brook Ln to Sunny Wood Ct) (10161) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 19th day of January, 2022. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 10, 2022.
