HomeMy Public PortalAbout15865 Everman Ave 9518 Storm Sewer (11179)ORDINANCE NO. 15865 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($275,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Everman Ave 9518 Storm Sewer (11179) in the City of Overland, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22139 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Two Hundred Fourteen Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars ($214,222.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Sixty Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Eight Dollars ($60,778.00); WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($275,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek for storm sewer construction in Everman Ave 9518 Storm Sewer (11179) in the City of Overland, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 22139 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Everman Ave 9518 Storm Sewer (11179) in the City of Overland, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 11th day of January, 2022. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 10, 2022.
