APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
McMANIMON & SCOTLAND, LLC
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret was in need of specialized Bond Counsel services
with regard to various bonding issues; and
\VHEREAS, McManimon & Scotland, LLC possesses the requisite knowledge and
experience to provide said legal services and;
WHEREAS, McManimon & Scotland, LLC has suhmitted invoices which provided
Bond Counsel services to the Borough at a cost not to exceed $9,500.00 at the hourly rate
established in accordance with the law firm's existing contract with the Borough; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are availahle for the
payment of said professional legal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey that:
2. McManimon & Scotland, LLC is hereby authorized to perform specialized
Bond Counsel services at a cost not to exceed $9,500.00 and execute payment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made as professional services
contract pnrsuant to NJ.S.A. 40A:1l-5(1)a.
